The « Untamable Fury » is a destroyer class vessel built with the remains of five Astral Knights ships. After the final sacrifice of the Astral Knights against the World Engine of the Necrons, Phillipe DeGuise, armateur extraordinaire obtain the right to recycle the floating parts. He changed the design into a Rogue Trader vessel.
DeGuise sold the ship only six months after completion. Crew members complained of horrific nightmares involving a boarding party of Necrons slaugthering the last Astral Knight tactical squad. Inspection by an inquisition psyker revealed low traces of residual psychic energy. The Untamable Fury was judged safe by the inquisition. DeGuise himself piloted the vessel, on a short voyage, to reassure his crew. Upon arrival to Macragge he put the vessel up for sale after witnessing horrific apparations in the captain's cabin.
The Untamable Fury remained unused and docked for 66 years. During that period of time maintenance crews complained of horrific apparitions. With time the manifestations subsided. DeGuise never managed to sell the ship. The vessel was bought recently by two noble families of Macragge. The Burcoskis and Vardos have decided to turn two troublesome cousins into Rogue Trader and Navigator. It best the two men be kept from family and political affairs for a unspecified number of years...
